Can I leave it on while the AC or heat pump runs?
No. This cover is for a shut-down unit that will not start automatically. Remove it completely before operation, including heat-pump heating. Mesh openings do not establish sufficient operating airflow.
Does it block rain and fine dust?
No. It helps intercept leaves and larger debris. Water and fine particles can pass through the open mesh.
Will I still need to clean my unit?
Yes. Continue routine inspections and maintenance. Clear accumulated debris from the cover and surrounding area, especially after windy weather.
